Three decade veteran in the hair design business, Mark Thomas has exclude in all aspects of the hair industry.
Apprentice in London, Paris and Milan, Mark’s first job as haircutter was with Pipino Buccheri Manhatthan.
Wanting to expand his practice into color, Mark worked for Pierre Michele at The Plaza hotel. Picked by Allure Magazine as one of Americas premiere hair colorist.
His work has been featured in major publications including Vogue, Elle, Seventeen and Working Woman Magazine.
Runway work for Donna Karan, Richard Tyler, Zang Toi, and Valentino.
Notable clients, Cybil Shepard, Matt Dillion, Ilene Ford and Ford Models, Charles Schwab and along with his family.
After years in the big apple Mark move to San Francisco and opened his first shop in Nob Hill, “Pouf a salon”.
After nearly a decade in California, Mark returned to his Texas roots where he opened his latest salon, Mark Thomas Studio.

Michael Smother has resided in Austin for 20 years and has been styling hair for 22 years.
He received his cosmetology degree in Dallas, Texas and trained under some of Dallas best known stylists, with that knowledge he moved to Austin to begin his career.
Since 1992 Michael has built a cliental with some of Austin best known. He continues to build on creating beautiful hair, with natural color for greying clients, believable blondes and cuts that are to style and compliment everyones features.

JORGE GONZALEZ
Stylist in the hair industry for over ten years. He came to Austin in 2004 as an instructor for the Paul Mitchell Academy while building clientele at Salon 505.
Continuing his education from such places as Dallas, Las Vegas, and London, he keep himself current with all of the latest trends and innovative styling techniques.
Now working at Mark Thomas Studio, he take great joy in enhancing his client's beauty.
